You could even leaves notes with your thoughts on each thing.
Even if it's just to state someone is the biggest loser here.
That way it's more personal. More you.
With all the shit that has happened here it's easy to forget the positive.
So, having something there for when they can't be around or something to look at and smile again from the memories is great.
