[ Jim stands back, watching with warm fondness in his eyes as Zell gets reacquainted with the rather happy cat. Morph comes over to investigate, too, though he sticks closer to Jim. That probably has something to do with the unshed tears he can feel forming in his eyes. ]

-He really missed you.

[ He wasn't the only one. ]

[ Zell sees Morph and smiles. ]

Hey little guy. Been looking after Jim for me?

[ Speaking of... he does lean in close to press a quick kiss against the corner of Jim's eyes. ]

[ Jim kisses him back on the lips, carefully, firmly. Even if Zell can't feel it, Jim needs it, just then. ]

They were confused about what happened.

[ Since Zell was there one minute, and then - well. ]

[ It's like....a vague pressure. He couldn't even tell what Jim was doing until he realizes it can be only one thing. He shifts the cat in his arms to free an arm. Just going to reach to run his fingers through his hair, while trying to give him a kiss back. He's trying not to over think it, and just letting instinct take over. ]

Yeah, I know what they mean. I still can't wrap my head around it.

[ It's just off enough to feel weird, different from the way Zell so often throws himself into kissing Jim. Jim shifts the kiss down to his neck and settles there to talk. ]

I didn't even know what was happening.

[swatsflies]

[ And Jim is moving. He can't even feel him there, but he does feel a pressure. Moving to rest his own chin on his shoulder. ]

Yeah it happened like... [ He tries snap his finger. ] I reached for the door knob and then woke up in the morgue.

[ Jim takes his other hand, holding to it tight for a moment before easing up. The attempt at finger snapping would be kind of funny under any other circumstances. ]

Something really didn't want us in that building.

Man, I wonder why. Is it something bad or they didn't want us seeing something?

[ Someone else will have to take over cause he doesn't think any of them should try again. Also he's not going to realized Jim is holding his hand so his fingers will continue to try to snap... and then he sees what Jim is doing. ]

I don't think whatever it was wanted to keep us safe.

[ Obviously, considering what happened to Zell. ]

It's protecting itself. Which means we were headed in the right direction.

Yeah... they probably were trying to hide something.

[ He turns his head to look in the direction, even if they can't see it from inside of the house ]

It almost makes me want to try again. [ ANOTHER TIME THOUGH ]

[rattlingthestars]

[ That earns him a wiggling boyfriend and an alarmed look. ]

Don't even think about it.

[ He's poking Zell in the chest now. ]

[ Whoops. He doesn't feel the poking... just this pressure and KNOWING he should be feeling it. It's the expression that Jim wears that really drives it home. ]

I know, Stars. I won't go in there again. Not until after we know it's safe.
